Millie Bobby Brown Revealed That She's Deaf In One Ear

Any disability shouldn't stop you from living your dream or any great opportunity. Actress Millie Bobby Brown from the hit sci-fi Netflix series Stranger Things revealed that she is deaf in one ear and it doesn't impact her enjoyment of singing. In a interview with Variety, the 13-year-old actress' revelation makes her singing and rapping talent like that performance of Nicki Minaj’s verse on the song Monster she gave at the Tonight Show makes it more outstanding. Its a true witness that disabilities have no stop on talent. She's a good example that many artists who sing can be successful like the legendary singer Stevie Wonder who is legally blind. Millie told Variety that she was born with partial hearing loss, and her hearing in one year faded further as the years went on. Anyone can have a decent voice but being able to hear the music with hearing loss adds strength to her credentials. “I just started to sing, and if I sound bad I don’t care, because I’m just doing what I love,” she said in the Variety interview. “You don’t have to be good at singing. You don’t have to be good at dancing or acting. If you like to do it, if you genuinely enjoy doing it, then do it. No one should stop you.” Agreed. In the interview, Millie also revealed she’s never had any formal training as an actor or singer. It goes to show if you enjoy doing the things you love, disabilities or shortcomings shouldn't stop you.
