Humanitarian and Actress Meghan Markle Is Engaged to Prince Harry

/react-text react-text: 223 Prince Harry /react-text react-text: 224 and Meghan Markle posed for pictures at Kensington Palace to show off her stunning engagement ring and their prenuptial bliss. After dating for a year, the fifth in line for the British throne and the American actress and humanitarian will be wed in spring of 2018, which was first /react-text react-text: 226 confirmed /react-text react-text: 227 by Clarence House Monday morning on Twitter. In an appearance at Kensington Palace, the couple, who got engaged earlier this month, looked so in love while posing for photos in the Kensington Palace Sunken Gardens — the location was most likely /react-text react-text: 229 a nod /react-text react-text: 230 to Princess Diana. Prince Harry admitted he knew he would marry Meghan "after the very first time we met," according to video obtained by the Today show. Meghan also admitted that the proposal was "very" romantic. Also, in a cover story for Vanity Fair from October, Meghan discussed their relationship for the first time. She said, "We're in love. I'm sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time. This is for us. It's part of what makes it so special, that it's just ours. But we're happy. Personally, I love a great love story."

The couple remained quiet about any engagement details. However, Harry confirmed their relationship in November 2016 with a statement condemning sexist and racist cyberbullying that was aimed at Meghan. Here are some tweets defending those like Meghan Markle who are bullied because of being biracial. Reasons you may or may not know people wouldn't agree with Meghan marrying Harry is because she would be marrying into a family with a legacy of colonialism. Whether you love or not excited for a royal courtship, you can't deny how much they genuinely love each other.

The couple could be walking down the aisle around spring 2018 before or after The Princess of Cambridge or Kate Middleton delivers her third child next year. This is a great start to good additions to the royal family.
