There Was A Terrorist Attack in New York City

On the eve of Halloween on a Tuesday night, it turned into a tragic halt as there was a terrorist attack in Manhattan that left eight people dead and 11 others injured. Within the attack it has been labeled an "attack of terror," the victim were along a bike path when a rental truck plowed into pedestrians. As we get closer to the end of the year, it seems that violence constantly occurring daily. In fact, there have only been 10 days this year where no one was killed by police. There are countries whose police haven't killed anyone this year. The US hasn't gone 3 consecutive days. A total of 1,001 people were killed by police through October 31, 2017. Police killed 3 or more people on most of the days this year. It has been so much gun violence that it feels impossible to keep track with and so many funds and supplies to give victims of hurricanes tornadoes etc. Since the terrorist attacks in Charlottesville, Texas, Las Vegas and other cities it calls for a continuous demanded action for gun control that weighs heavy in America. Here is a chart posted on Twitter below.

Watch below a video posted by upcoming actress Storm Reid reflecting to the tragedy for New York City.

The terriorists in may or may not be "mentally ill" but it doesn't excuse them from taking someone else's life. All theses cases are hate crimes that all involve white males in different ages. And all of these hate crimes happened in location where people want to enjoy themselves with their love ones. The crimes that happened in churches, elementary schools, movie theatre and concerts prove that this goes beyond a terrorist's mental health, its a gun situation. As a country, we need Congress on our side and protect us all with gun control.
