When we slay, we slay together! That would be the notion of a great night in music and entertainment for 2016's Video Music Awards. If you were me you were anticipating the matriarchy, Beyoncé performing a song of her "autobiographical" emotional album "Lemonade." However to a lot of people's surprise, she did perform not 1 not 2 but 4 songs off her album. But who's really complaining, here? I'm still recovering from the rebirth she gave my life. I'm just BEYONECZNNHSNSJYGAJZHBXNDBZHDB over here. But I'm okay. As her performance was about to close, her dancers formed a woman's sign on stage that made #blackgirlmagic and feminism light up like the stage. As the performance was over everyone was as usual on their feet and stunned as to what magic they have witnessed. Beyoncé is the model of strength and perseverance of black women where issues such as white feminism, racial stigma etc affect so many African American women. So, get in formation because she's Bey and [we] run this world.
