Historic Female Leaders of Today

Unfortunately, we were not able to make Hillary Clinton as our first female United States president. The election had us all glued to the TV to watch the election unfold for months. As the United States tries to get through this surprising ending to a long political race. The nation has shook, tears, and confusion as Trump is the elect to become president. People are trying to navigate through the day as we don't know where to go from here and what to expect in the future.

Hearts are heavy for the fact that Trump has been elected, makes half the world worried about the integrity of America. There is an increasingly concern with the health and safety of targeted people from Trump's remarks and plans towards minorities, women, people of color, Muslims, immigrants, LGBTQ and other social issues. People across the country are still processing and vocal of the shook value of the result of this election. Yet, history has been made with other female leaders. Mostly liking yourself while reading this is shocked from the outcome of this election.

However, It may not seem so, but we are all winners, that is for wanting more equality for all people regardless of race, gender or sexuality other subjects that tends separated us than connect us. This election has opened a lot of eyes to what this country can be from dramatic yet emotional changes has brought over the years including right now. When they go low, we go high! Try. Be good. Do good. The world can be evil and mean but you don't fall into that. Take a look at these historic female leaders to make you feel better. Perhaps it will make you have more hope to conquer the days ahead and follow your dreams. We would be mad if you didn't try and do so.
