Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui Says Woman Up Against Trump

Emotional filled feeds and tweets has been flooded in since the announcement of Trump is our US president-elect. It definitely doesn't stop people from being openly candid of distain for Trump being a leader of this country that so many of us call home and familiar.

Many young influential celebrities are open about her disappoint in the actions of Trump and his supporters have cause during his candidacy is an understatement. Recently, singer of teen queens Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui is a "bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it,” she states in an open letter towards Donald Trump and his supporters from Billboard. Jauregui pulled no punches in criticizing those who voted for Trump, who she calls a “power-hungry business tycoon.” “Your words are worthless, because your actions have led to the single-handed destruction of all the progress we’ve made socially as a nation” the 20-year-old singer writes. Jauregui adds. “I am proud to be part of a community. Jauregui ended her plea with a call to action to those whose views she does not share. “Look beyond yourselves, look at how petty the morals you uphold seem when you realize we are not the only ones,” she says. “None of us belong here, but all of us deserve the right to feel safe and live our lives in peace.” She respects the people of LGBTQ community that "only projects love and education and the support of one another.”

This goes to show that you are never too young, too girl, or too woman to speak out for what you believe is right. Speak up to your bullies for your friends, classmates and for yourself. We all need education in love to give that love in supporting each other.
