Rowan Blanchard Celebrates Her 16th Birthday

Rowan Blanchard has made a powerful name for herself not only by being an actress on Disney Channel's Boy Meet World reboot of Girl Meets World. She has been in and other film adaptions and guest starring appearances on the TV show The Goldberg's. The life of being a young cultured person in today's society navigating through adolescence is like a unexpected emotions of an iridescence of a ripple in a puddle. Teens and young adults feel parents underestimate our views when those points of views have been shaped by information that are so instantly available than past generations with the help of the internet. Don't you just hate when a grown adult says "stop reading about the news and enjoy being young." Rolls our eyes. Teens and young adults are part of the next generation of heroes and they are part of this world too. Whatever happen in this day and age is going to affect generations afterwards. Her fans are grateful to know that people like Rowan Blanchard in this generation are aware of the social and political injustices that adults tend to belittle us for knowing too much of because we're young. Her words are straightforward and sharp. Her presence is precious and punctual in a genuine way. Self care is even more important when you're a political aware human being. Rowan Blanchard is a good example of a person who can encourage a person like a cherub that her halo gets brighter every time she speaks. She can persuade anyone to claim the word "feminist" as not a bad word. She is very clear of her aspirations of equality for this country and the rest of the world as a whole. The quality of work her and her peers strive to take down the patriarchy for them is like ripping notebook paper even though the results are like breaking a glass ceiling. On the behalf of the goodness of the world, we hope you dance the day away, and maybe make paper beads for bracelets with your friends like Yara Shahidi. Happy Birthday, Rowan!

Quote of the Day:

"The way a black woman experiences sexism and inequality is different from the way a white woman experiences sexism and inequality,"-Rowan Blanchard
